Parent Teacher Association
The total education of the child is the concern of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). It provides the forum for discussion, between the school administration and the teachers on one hand and parents on the other.
Towards this goal the PTA will act in an advisory capacity to the school administration and will enable parents and teachers to work together for the development, progress and welfare of the pupils of the school. Further the PTA will promote parents and teachers to co-operate in furthering the educational, religious, social and cultural activities of the school.
The functions of the PTA include:
- Advising and assisting the Principal of the school on matters connected with the development of the school.
- Recommending improvements to academic, curricular and mode of teaching and promoting greater collaboration among parents teachers and students of the school
- Promoting cultural, religious (including inter-cultural and inter-religious) spiritual activities and moral wellbeing in the school.
When you join the PTA, you will become part of the school’s extended family who care about issues that affect the school. Membership is open to all parents of every child currently studying in the school and to the members of the staff of the school.
The 2011/2012 Parent Teacher Association Executive Committee was elected on 28 February 2011 at the Annual General Meeting.

In order to carry out the functions of the PTA, the executive committee has formed into the following sub committees; sub committee on sports, sub committee on academic assistance, sub committee on health, sub committee on security, and sub committee on special projects. These committees work on projects relating to their respective areas while supporting all activities as a whole.
