In today’s high-tech world man is becoming more like a machine. In such a world it is our duty to make the young ones ready and able to handle complex and difficult situations in life. This is where the Islamic Society of Holy Family Convent comes in. Religion plays a major role in a student’s life. Our Islamic Society provides students of our faith, with the opportunity to gain a greater in sight into Islam and to gain practical experiences which will certainly be valuable in the future.

The Islamic Society also gives the opportunity to our students to understand and develop their natural talents as well as teaching them to live a life filled with peace and harmony within our school community where students come from many races and religions.

Alhamdulillah (all praise to God Alone), I appreciate the Islamic Society for succeeding in encouraging and highlighting the talents of the Muslim students by organizing competitions among us under various categories. Many of our students also participated in inter-school contests such as calligraphy, oratory, essay, do- you-know and Islamic song competitions. Most of the participants won many prizes, certificates, trophies and medals. So with this tradition of participating and winning prizes we look forward to bring glory to our school as we’ve done in the past years.

I’m glad that Insha’ Allah (If Allah wishes) we are hoping to have an Islamic Day this year to focus on our religion and to bring out the talents of our students, while giving different schools an opportunity to Interact with each other and to share their ideas.
