| | | | Science has spanned and the sky, measured the oceans and wrestled from nature many of her hidden treasures. It has relieved human suffering by discovering secrets of health and disease. It has annihilated the expanse between time and space and thereby made communication and contact with the world easier and faster. The main purpose of our school’s Science Union is to popularize ‘Science’ among students. We look forward to our annual Science day scheduled to be held in the 2nd term. The theme for our Science day will be based “Wave Energy”. We are also hoping to organize quizzes, essay competitions and poetry competitions in Sinhala, English and Tamil, in the aim of increasing the Students’ awareness of issues pertaining to the subject.
