“I am the One who is, and there is only I, who am. Honour and the esteem of creatures are only smoke and I am the One who is; their friendship is only dust and I am the One who is. Wealth and pleasure are only mud and I am the One who is and there is no other.”

These were the words which Jesus himself said to the first Holy Family community who witnessed the miraculous apparition of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Among the people who were present, some were absorbed in deep contemplation, others wept tears of joy, love and gratitude. This memory of the miraculous benediction was given to the sisters of the Holy Family on the third of February, 1822.

As Familians, today (3^rd February) is a very special day for us as we celebrate our school day. The Holy Family congregation which our good father Pierre Bienvenu Noailles began many years ago, is today a huge community which performs tasks according to God’s will. Among the members of this community are Rev. Fathers, Sisters, children, youth and adults of the Holy Family. This is all because of the blessings Jesus gave us on that sacred day.

Our loving Jesus, who appeared in the Blessed Sacrament on that day, is present here with us. He showers his blessings upon us. Jesus wants us to be united as one family.
