The Tamil literary Association has been in existence for over sixty years. It seeks to develop the language and literary skills of our students. Opportunities are given to students to take part in Speech, Singing, Essay Competition and Debates in school. They also participate with enthusiasm in the ‘Tamil Day’ competitions organized by the Department of Education as well as in competitions organized by other leading schools in Colombo. We have the privilege of staging dance dramas based on the great epics and other forms of Tamil Literarture.Our annual Kalai Vizha, in which our students perform in music, song, dance, and drama is an event that they all look forward to.
