TENNIS

Tennis at Holy Family Convent Bambalapitiya has developed over the past few years both locally and internationally, now consisting of over thirty players who have gone on to bring great glory to the school by successfully placing themselves at any tournament taken part in so far. Mrs. Rohini Condegama, a dedicated teacher who has assisted this team for the past years is still the driving force behind the team. Furthermore, under the correct guidance and coaching of Mr. Dinith Pathiraja with the help of his assistant coaches Mr. Anthony and Mr. Sampath have helped HFC win the All Island Girls Championship 2008 for the first time in H.F.C tennis history.

The HFC tennis team is blessed with a talented and great player, Amritha Muttiah who is currently ranked number one in the under seventeen category in

Sri Lanka.
